Our billing is based on the amount of time used on the assignment. General office expenses are included in our hourly rate.
The lawyer’s fee is determined by the workload and the quality of the work needed for completing the assignment. The difficulty of the assignment can be a factor for raising the fee. Work done outside of regular working hours, in a foreign language, abroad, in exceptionally difficult circumstanses or on an especially tight schedule due to reasons independent of the lawyer may be a reason for charging a higher fee. A higher fee might also be charged for work done on Saturdays, Sundays or on holidays when the client asks so or the assignments demands it.

Legal expenses insurance

A legal expenses insurance is included in many home insurances. The legal expenses insurance covers at least a part of the costs caused by the assignment. The invoice will be directed to the client. The compensation of the loss is a matter between the client and the insurance company.

Standard assignment with a lawyer is 230,00 € / h (with VAT 24 % 285,20 €). Hourly rates for assignments that require special expertise will be agreed upon separately.

We also offer a package that includes a 1 hour videomeeting with our lawyer and a standard Custody and Visitation right -agreement for a fixed price of 450,00 € (with VAT 24 % 558 €).

The minimum charge for a court appearance is 3 hours.

Fees collected by the authorities and other payments (for example travelling expenses 0,56 €/km and copying fees 0,37 €/page for high volume copying) will be charged separately.

For the time spent travelling, we charge according to the agreed hourly rate for the first three hours. If the travel time exceeds three hours, we charge 130 €/h (+VAT 24 %) for every hour exceeding the first three.

Lakialan käytännön mukaisesti laskutamme yksittäisistä puhelinneuvotteluista, sähköposteista ja niihin vastaamisesta aikaveloituksen mukaisesti kuitenkin siten, että vähimmäisveloitus on ajan käytöstä riippumatta aina 15 minuuttia. Tekstiviesteistä ja niihin vastaamisesta laskutamme 10 minuutin aikaveloituksen mukaisesti.
